T&Cs

  1. The Initial 90 minute Private 1-2-1 Consultation with the attendee is conducted with a qualified Senior Assessor/Instructor of the Body Contrology Pilates Studios.
  2. All regular sessions last 60 minutes
  3. The attending member will be requested to provide any scans, x-rays or medical reports regarding their physical condition, taken within the prior 12 (twelve) months of the initial attendance date.
  4. Special Offers are only available to first time attendees and cannot be combined with other offers
  5. All bookings by appointment only
  6. Attendace. Members must attend i) twice per week at the 20 session rate (Limit 12 weeks), and ii) once per week at the 10 session rate (Limit 12 weeks),unless by agreement
  7. All classes cancelled within 24 hours will be charged without a doctor’s certificate in ALL cases, unless you do a makeup class in the same week, space permitting.
  8. TIME LIMITS for 10 and 20 sessions will be strictly enforced, except during school holidays and Instructor’s absence.
  9. Medical reasons: if you cannot do a makeup class in the same week, a medical certificate will be required so as not to be charged for the class.
  10. Renewals: Please renew your session payments PRIOR TO the last session to maintain your discount. Renewals after your last session will attract an extra payment of $50.
  11. NOTICE24 hours notice is required for cancellations. Less than 24hrs notice and ‘no-shows’ will be charged a full session rate.
  12. TRANSFERABILITYPilates Studio sessions are strictly non-transferable, except to family members.
  13. REFUNDS For cancellations/discontinuation of classes, a refund will be calculated on the basis of all sessions completed at a single session rate of $60.00 and an administration fee of $50.00. Whatever is remaining will be refunded.
  14. DELAYED PAYMENTS Part or delayed payments will incur a charge of $50.00 per week or part thereof, until the full amount has been paid.
  15. STUDIO ETTIQUETTE Pilates sessions are being attended by clients of varying abilities/disabilities. Therefore, consideration for other clients is required at all times by all members. No refunds are available to clients who are asked to leave for repeatedly loud or annoying behaviour.
  16. CLEAN SOCKS are required at all times. If you do not have them, feet may NOT be placed in the straps for health reasons.
  17. FEEDBACK If at any time, you feel uncomfortable with any part of the routine, STOP the exercise and inform the instructor on duty, especially in cases where pain levels are noticed in your back or any other part of the body or twinges of pain, stress, discomfort or strain.
  18. INSTRUCTION ONLY attempt exercises shown by an instructor and no other person.
  19. MEDICAL ABSENCE If sessions are interrupted for longer than four weeks and for any medical reasons, please shall inform the instructor on duty of the reasons why, and check if the program as last given would still be appropriate. You may need to have a private session before returning to the studio. A medical certificate will be required to verify a hold any sessions.
  20. If you have sustained any injury during time off, you may require a private session to assess your condition.
